Sr. Program Manager

The Program Management team at Snapfish is looking for an experienced Program Manager who is knowledgeable about managing programs end to end, on time and within budget while engaging stakeholders across functions of the organization. Snapfish is going through transformational change and is looking for someone who can not only manage programs to get results but engage with teams and facilitate positive change across the organization.

As a Sr. Program Manager, you will:

Develop and manage the execution of cross-functional programs of work, involving multiple concurrent projects across functions (both technical and non-technical) from design through to program close out

  • Develop and manage the execution of strategic cross- functional programs engaging multiple functions across the organization
  • Translate business objectives into execution strategy (tactical and strategic)
  • Establish milestones and maintain adherence to program plan and schedule, proactively identifying barriers, removing obstacles and driving clarity for the team
  • Ensure data is collected and analyzed to appropriately inform decisions, while mitigating risks and resolving issues
  • Design prepare and present reports to senior management
  • Develop trusting relationships with key technology and functional leaders, remove tension/roadblocks and drive focus on the program objectives
  • Lead both internal and external program review sessions to ensure delivery of program objectives
  • Facilitate change to ways of working to build a common framework across functions
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Project Management and Change Management experience
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Communications or a related field
  • PM Certification will be considered, but not required.
  • Experience in internal or external change management consulting
  • Experience on End to End process definition and implementation
  • eCommerce or retail experience preferred

Who You Are: * You bring order and process not for the sake of process, but for the sake of efficiency * You are able to speak across functions and with everyone from executives to individual contributors * Technically minded and understand the day-to-day operations of a well-established engineering org * You can influence within teams without having "formal-authority" What You'll Be Doing: * Work with Engineering, Product Management, and Operations to establish, track and communicate product feature portfolios and dependencies across multiple teams * Create and manage execution plans and risk plans at scrum and portfolio level * Be a SCRUM master at the portfolio level and SCRUM team level as needed * Facilitate and organize scrum of scrums, sprints, release planning, demos, retrospectives and other Scrum related meetings * Communicate with management, developers, product managers, product owners and support specialists on product issues; improve inter-team communications * Create alignment through the build and release process, working closing with engineering and DevOps * Assist product owners as needed with backlog maintenance, help writing User Stories and break them down into deliverable tasks What You Bring to the Team: * At least 5 years' experience leading cross-functional technical teams as a project manager and acting scrum master or product owner * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar * Strong understanding of agile process, scaled agile (SAFe) and in-depth knowledge Scrum and Kanban * Ability to work in an environment at a fast pace and with changing priorities * Strong verbal and written communication * Outstanding organizational and time management skills * Experience working with various project management such as Jira and Confluence * Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and architecture, product development build processes, project management, and release models. Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle. * Experience working in Networking and Software Development a big plus!
