Senior Program Manager, Global Quality Management System (QMS)

Reporting to the Director of Global Quality Management System, the Senior Program Manager, Global Quality Management System (QMS) will be responsible for ensuring quality systems at Littelfuse across all manufacturing sites and business units are effective, consistent and compliant to industry and quality standards. As a key member of the Global QMS team, this position will work with across the manufacturing and product development network. This will require a strong understanding of ISO 9001 and industry related quality standards and best practices.

About the Job:

  • Ensure Littelfuse quality systems meet our customer needs and industry standards e.g. ISO 9001, IATF16949, etc.

  • Review and enhance global quality management systems.

  • Develop and implement project plans to upgrade our quality management system to become a benchmark for our industry.

  • Support operations quality assessments of manufacturing sites and business units.

  • Support transition of acquisitions to the Littelfuse QMS.

  • Be an advocate of the "Zero Defects. Zero Excuses." quality culture across Littelfuse.

About You:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field. Master's degree a plus.

  • Minimum of five-plus years of quality-related experience in a global development/manufacturing environment, including experience with a global customer base & quality management system.

  • A working knowledge of quality tools: FMEA and other quality planning tools, problem solving skills, etc. Quality, Lean and/or Six Sigma Green Belt certifications a plus.

  • Experience in Project Management. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, document management and project management applications.

  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and related quality management systems.

  • Ability to drive results, influence and bring projects and programs to closure.

  • Prior experience in leading process improvement projects and driving/participating in Value Stream Mapping exercises and/or Kaizen events preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team while providing task-oriented direction to others to complete projects within required time-frames.

  • Attention to detail along with ability to self-regulate, self-motivate and self-prioritize.

  • Demonstrated strong communication skills verbal, written and visual aids/tools like PowerPoint, Visio etc.

  • Adept at building liaisons while work cross functionally with other organizations

  • Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict, able to effectively communicate ideas and positions and be an active listener.

  • Able to coach and teach teams on quality management systems.

Responsibilities: The Senior Global Program Manager will be reporting into the Senior Manager, Sales Readiness and is responsible for building and leading global cross functional project teams to ensure Coaching and Leadership programs are successfully deployed and capabilities are delivered. To be successful, you will drive executive alignment on sales enablement, develop plans and project timelines, own the completion of milestones, prioritize actions, communications plans, report status, handle risk mitigation and eliminate blockers as needed. * Strong experience in coaching, executive presence and stakeholder management. * Operate as 'Chief of Staff' for Executive and Cross Functional committee overseeing GloPro Sales Enablement * Implement portfolio, program and project management best practices, including change management, organizational communications, key metrics and dashboards. * Develop strong, collaborative relationships with the cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution and delivery of strategic initiatives. * Implement and leverage tools to provide visibility in portfolio/program/project status to improve visibility and facilitate decision making at all levels of the organization. * Manage portfolio of key initiatives including intake, prioritization, cross-functional alignment and communications / escalations * Drive programs/projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams and utilizing best practices to ensure successful project delivery * Share program / project process frameworks, tools, and best practices that can be adopted throughout the team's organization. * Use problem solving skills to logically structure ambiguous problems, conduct analysis, extrapolate key insights and deliver recommendations * Identify opportunities for improvement and implement the approved recommendations. * Learn quickly, be proactive, and assume ownership for broad tracks of work * 20-25% travel required, as needed.
