Department Summary
The Center for Health Policy has three pillars: Research, Education and Community. These pillars are underpinned by health equity, the translation of research into policy and the practical and effective implementation of policies related to health. The Center focuses particularly but not exclusively on three broad areas: Telementoring & Workforce Development, Rural Health and Whole Health.
Position Overview
The Senior Program Manager
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to understand general business principles.
Ability to be a strong, clear communicator by oral and written means.
Ability to interact with a wide range of professional colleagues from tenured researchers to students to entrepreneurs.
Ability to be highly organized and have the ability to work towards deadlines.
Ability to be develop new procedures and present to others about those processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree level and five years of proven experience with finance, grants and contracts management.
