The Senior Program Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring and managing internal projects and programs. Activities may include process and project identification, planning and execution. Secures required resources, use formal processes, tools and methodologies to manage project / program resources, budgets, risks and changes. Manages projects to ensure on-time completions according to specification and budget costs or manages enterprise programs to ensure program meets desired objectives or identifies opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency and enable increased growth.

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the centralized administration of the development and execution of related projects/plans that drive overall enterprise growth. Programs include multiple dependent projects that are closely tied to the enterprise strategic goals. Responsible for overall program governance, management, financial management, infrastructure and planning. Oversees change management and influences strategic direction of programs. Acts as the communications conduit to executive sponsors and conducts periodic briefings/status updates.

As the Program Manager, Senior Manager you will:

  • Be responsible for business coordination for Project Atlas deployments

  • Ensure Atlas executes on key strategic and operational initiatives

  • Continuously improve Atlas' capability to meet the commitments to deliver business change and internal client-specific delivery

  • Increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Atlas and enable growth, both organic and inorganic, over the long term

  • Identify, recruit, develop and retain management level talent and senior level professionals who execute against the strategic objectives of Atlas

  • Provide leadership to managers and/or professional staff focused on a narrow range of work within a function

  • Identify and address complex technical, operational and/or organization challenges

  • Make decisions guided by resource availability and functional objectives

  • Develop and implement tactical operational plans that align with business objectives

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in program management for accounting and finance initiatives for a large matrix organization

  • Must have an extensive background finance/accounting managing large projects and project management

  • Experience with managing a team including direct reports and cross functional teams

  • Bachelors degree required, MBA/CPA preferred

  • PMP or other related certifications strongly preferred

  • Works well with cross functional teams including business units, technology, finance, accounting, operations, and sales

  • Able to solve problems quickly

  • Great communication skills with senior leaders as well as individual contributors

  • Coordinate and deliver multiple priorities

  • Able to motivate a team

  • Talent Development Sets clear expectations for effective talent management and holds subordinate managers accountable for goal-setting, honest employee evaluations, and the incorporation of actionable development plans
