You will be responsible for working with stakeholders to gather requirements and for delivering robust project plans and milestones to deliver on business priorities. You will be responsible for rolling up status and reporting it via several channels (some you may need to create).

You must have a technical mindset and be able to clearly communicate issues, solutions, and any other necessary information across the broad range of stakeholders. You must excel at working with engineering, design, and product leads to drive adoption of best practices for tracking and delivering projects on time and with predictability. You will also need to have the drive and enthusiasm to be an integral part of a technical team, and company, on a journey towards greatness, in part by being able to work together to overcome challenges and collaborate with the wider team and stakeholders to deliver the optimal outcome.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to understand product and feature deliverables

  • Manage multiple, related projects to ensure on-time delivery

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and tech teams to support the ongoing partnership between teams and understand how the products are used in the organization

  • Help to create tracking and reporting mechanisms that lead to predictable outcomes, and work with teams to facilitate adoption of this type of rigor

  • Contribute to scoping discussions and challenge assumptions when and where required

  • Maintain technical and stakeholder facing status reporting

  • Effectively handle ambiguity while working to diminish that ambiguity for your teams and the stakeholders

Your skills:

  • Excellent technical knowledge and an understanding of product lifecycles

  • Great organizational skills and a high level of oral/written communication skills

  • Ability to synthesis and solve challenging business/technology problems

  • Able to prioritize own workload across multiple projects simultaneously and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment

  • Able to work with cross functional teams to deliver the implementation of new features as well as resolve operational issues

  • A keen sense on when to tactfully pushback as appropriate to ensure your team is able to deliver successfully

  • A love of constantly improving yourself and influencing your teams to do the same

  • Previous experience working with multiple teams with various levels of interest in and adoption of tracking methodologies

Position Summary and Responsibilities Provides budget analysis, labor planning, and coordination of activities between all departments and personnel. Serves as mediator to internal issues and conflicting priorities for members of cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products to customers. Monitors and drive project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue and cost projections. May be required to manage customer relationship to ensure customer satisfaction. Develop and implement activities to meet goals, quality and cost objectives. Selects, develops and leads personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the Project Management function and develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Prioritizes schedules based on multiple factors and customer requirements. Plans and administers procedures and budgets. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Determines critical methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel. Tasks and assignments tend to be complex, non-routine and/or require a greater level of expertise. Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and process to meet goals outlined. This task will require close interaction with all departments within the facility. * Responsible for managing the implementation of specific customer contracts line items involving computer-based systems and/or government contracts. * Plans, directs, controls and coordinates financial as well as engineering activities for the projects, and for achieving financial and technical objectives. * Manages and Monitors projects from initiation through delivery, interfacing with all internal departments on technical and schedule matters. * Organizes interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget and time constraints. * Assess status and risk, generate recovery plans and meet customer expectations and business objectives. * May support new business proposals. * Ensure that departments within the organization reach goals within budget and a high level of quality. * Interacts with subordinates and/or functional peer groups regarding exchange or presentation of information. * Determines work schedules and overtime (if applicable) and allocation of resources and equipment.
