Amazon is now reinventing on behalf of the business customer and focused on building the largest and most innovative Business-to-Business (B2B) marketplace in the world, and we are recruiting to make this vision a reality within the Amazon Consumer Payments Organization, to make the customer's procure to pay experience delightful.

We, within the Business Experience Payments team, help enable various payment methods for business customers while simultaneously building features that empower a great customer paying experience. Our team also strategically evaluates emerging payments landscape and recommends investments in areas and capabilities which we believe will define the future of business payments.

As a senior program management leader on our team, you will help us define and bring our future payments vision to life by interacting closely with key stakeholder groups including fraud, technology, Sales, Marketing etc.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build and maintain our roadmap

  • Coordinate across key stakeholder groups including fraud, technology, Sales, Marketing etc.

  • Contribute to and drive programs that will offer new and delightful experiences to customers and stakeholders.

  • Drive program objectives - provide program management and define project plans, manage implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation and communications for program/process rollout and ongoing support

  • Scale services and tools - design processes and procedures that scale with the business' growth in volume, complexity, marketplace

  • Define key performance indicators - develop metrics and service level agreements for core programs and processes, and track delivery against program objectives

  • Communicate new/updated programs, policies, and processes to leaders, employees, and cross functional organizations

  • Drive resolution of critical issues for critical customers as well as support processes/systems deep dives to ensure root cause analysis and correction resulting in improved customer experience

  • Negotiate efficient and reliable processes and policies across partner teams to systematically eliminate dependencies and defects


  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Proven track record of building innovative software solutions

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals, and at multiple levels in an organization


  • Bachelors Degree or Masters degree

  • Experience working with large scale programs that expand across multiple teams and organizations

As a Manager of a team of TPMs, you will support your team members in leading cross-functional initiatives spanning the organization. You will focus on developing careers, setting guidelines, developing and sharing best practices, and providing hands-on coaching and mentorship for your reports. You will also act as a TPM on select cross-cutting projects as needed.
