Job Title: Senior Program Management Specialist - Indianapolis
Job Description:
Job Summary
Designed, planned, and coordinated activities to support the general operation of electrical and computer engineering (ECE) at PIN (Purdue University in Indianapolis). Participates in strategic planning, implementing, and developing activities to meet the goals and mission of ECE at PIN. Performs duties necessary for program operation. Oversees events and trainings and supports grant writing and reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities
Plans directs and implements programs or events, including helping create new programs, developing and writing ABET accreditation plans and study documents, and creating materials to support these programs/events.
Provides communications and liaisons with program participants, collaborators in other units, community partners, vendors, and the public.
Provides support to the recruitment, training, management, scheduling, and evaluation of staff, students, and volunteers at Indianapolis. Serves as a resource and provides guidance to team staff members as needed.
Researches available grants, works closely with faculty to identify funding needs and potential sources and creates grant proposals that further advance the program's and program participants' support.
Keep abreast of best practices to recommend policies and procedures that deliver a quality program experience.
Teaches the sophomore seminar course and coordinates industry visitors to the seminar.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Two (2) years of relevant experience in a related field.
Combinations of related education and experience may be considered
Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills
Maintains a high degree of professionalism
Demonstrated time management and priority-setting skills
Demonstrates a high commitment to quality
Possesses flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Seeks to acquire knowledge in the area of specialty
