Atlas Executive Consulting, LLC (Atlas), has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Management Consultant in our Charleston, SC office. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual that is a motivated self-starter with superior listening, effective communication, and organizational skills to lead program management operations for a NIWC Atlantic customer.


  • Serve as the Program Management / Operations Lead for various projects in support of the NIWC Atlantic Medical Information Delivery IPT

  • Assist the Senior Technical Lead with managing emergent data call responses with the sponsoring organization

  • Analyze and communicate cost, risk and schedule performance with recommended resolutions/mitigations

  • Review and/or provide input to schedules, cost estimates for new or recurring work, technical team size planning, and future year resource planning

  • Participate in financial reviews with the IPT financial analysts

  • Collect and provide input for the Monthly Performance Report and IPT Weekly Reports

  • Collaborate with industry partners to facilitate successful technical program management delivery

  • Support statement of work (SOW) development

  • Initiate and monitor activities requiring change process engagement

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified

  • Minimum Ten (10) years of hands-on experience with managing projects, to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.

  • Recognized expert who has demonstrated leadership in DoD C4ISR Acquisition Programs and Projects

  • Demonstrated experience with project planning, scope definition and work breakdown structure creation, performance baseline creation with associated baselines for cost, schedule, and scope

  • Experience with Risk Identification, Management, and Analysis; Project Scheduling; tracking project planned versus actual execution; measuring against milestones and performance baselines; and project and resource forecasting

Desired Qualifications:

  • Senior level project management experience with ability to rapidly understand the bigger picture

  • Significant experience with project financial management and understanding financial implications to project execution and vice versa.

  • Able to understand when change management needs to be enacted

  • Self-starter not requiring daily tasking

  • Good communicator at working team and senior levels. Represents themselves confidently and professionally in front of various levels of customers

  • Able to be concise, pointed and direct

  • Able to convey information (written and verbal) in a way that drives intended purpose of the communications

  • Finds solutions not problems and provides solution options for clients

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Government Security Clearance is mandatory for this position*
