We are currently seeking a Senior Acquisition/Program Management Analyst, to join our Center for Acquisition and Management Sciences (CAMS) team. This position will be providing program management and thought leadership to Government program offices in planning, organizing, managing, acquiring and implementing healthcare services. You will work on some of the most challenging technical and programmatic issues facing this important Healthcare sponsor located in the Northern, VA area.

Key Functions will include:

  • Advise sponsor on the benefits and use of acquisition methods, contracting strategies, and other disciplines in the management and acquisition of IT programs.

  • Supporting efforts involving programmatic and budgetary issues facing our Sponsors.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in a related discipline

  • Minimum of five years of related experience in the following:

  • Defining requirements

  • Developing acquisition strategies

  • Writing planning documentation such as acquisition plans, source selection plans, and risk management plans

  • Writing solicitation documentation such as sections of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Statements of Work (SOWs)

  • Serving as advisors during Source Selections

  • Supporting analysis and evaluation of contractor proposals

  • Assessing risks of contractor proposals

Assessing and mitigating risk in acquisition programs

  • Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance which will require US citizenship.

Desired:

  • 8+ years of experience in all facets of the acquisition process

  • Possess an active secret security clearance
