Senior Program Controller

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed reports of cost estimates, cost variances, cost over and cost under runs.
Provide timely and accurate performance data analysis in association with Company and program budgets and address any major deviations taking appropriate action for correction or providing applicable rationale for variances.
Execute assigned tasks and inform the Company PMO, Director of Operations and CAS President of all issues, concerns, problems, as well as recommendations to correct or mitigate.
Prepare and briefs monthly finance reviews to company Director of Operations and President.
Conduct interactive and periodic ad hoc budget variance analyses, to ensure the most accurate financial status is available for the company President.
Compile financial information and analyze cost estimating and financial data processes from both a federal government and company perspective.
Coordinate with the MIOS VP of Finance in analyzing financial and budgetary information.
Represent the company and be conversant with federal procurement officials concerning all program/contract financial requirements.
Examine and review cost records and ensures cost data is allocated correctly.
Analyze financial and budgetary information.
Draft milestone status reports and earned value management information.
Perform cost estimating, estimate to complete, estimate at completion.
Reconcile obligations, expenditures and contract funding levels; track estimates to complete.
Work with Contracts to initiate 75% Funding letters.
Review and validates contract awards and mods. Submit documents for approval.
Collaborate with contracts on the set up of projects to include set up of charge codes.
Prepare budget documents and provide input for future years' budget projections.
Utilize Adaptive Insights for budget projections.
Prepare financial forecasts.
Provide financial data support for proposals and budget processes.
Participate in Contract Kickoff meetings and provides finance related inputs.
Track invoices and related documentation.
Establish close working relationships with company Program Managers and respective customers and subcontractors on a program by program basis.
Will be responsible for leadership and management of the CAS Program Controller team.
Responsibilities will be carried out in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include: Training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Finance Administration, Accounting or other related degree field.
Master's Degree preferred.
5 years of experience with a background working within both Federal government accounting and corporate systems, to include CostPoint, Cognos, DELTEK and Adaptive Insights.
Substitution of additional relevant experience for stated qualifications may be considered.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work seamlessly within a complex corporate environment.
Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve budgetary/financial problems or issues.
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work efficiently.
Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Must have the ability to read, understand and financially administer federal contracts and other related procurement documents.
Must have knowledge with federal government budgetary processes and requirements, obligation expenditure tracking and Federal and DoD Planning Programming Budget systems.
Ability to work nights, weekends and Holidays as required.

The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
