Directly supporting the Chief Engineer and Class Desk The candidate is responsible for performing critical program management, technical, or business analysis of major DoD acquisition systems and provides recommendations to ensure program success. In addition, the Program Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following requirements:
Duties/responsibilities include:
Provide day-to-day support to the Chief Engineer and Class Desk
Manage Risk for five (5) platforms within the PMA
Develop working knowledge of various NAWC SWP processes
Track Risk/Issues realized within the PMA
Maintain and update PMA hazard tracking database
Review and revise SSRA and HAR acceptance letter packages
Route and track SSRA and HAR acceptance letter packages through executive signature
Maintain platform-specific task status trackers and routine meeting minutes
Creating, reviewing, and updating program related briefs
Drafting and updating briefing products for safety events
e.g. SSWGs and Platform Safety Review
Drafting and updating the PMA safety call trees and e-mail distributions, based on PMA inputs or requests
Experience Requirements:
At least 10 years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis
At least three (3) years professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development
Desired Experience:
Knowledge of NAVAIR risk management process
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, including good written communication skills and Technical.
Able to facilitate and manage meetings.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Proficient with MS Office Suite
Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote
Proficient with Adobe Acrobat
Education Requirements:
BS or BA degree
Allowable substitutions
An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience
Six (6) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree
Security Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship required
Candidate must have an ACTIVE SECRET clearance
