Primary Job Duties: Under general supervision of the Department Head, an incumbent of this class works on the development of programs, objectives and evaluative mechanisms.
Responsibilities involve monitoring programs, training. Work involves a good deal of independent decision-making regarding program goals and community needs, it also involves fieldwork and public contact. Overseeing the different aspects of program and events including staff coordination. Does related work as required.

Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following requirements on or before the date of the written examination: Bachelor's Degree AND two (2) years of experience dealing with adolescents or programs for adolescents OR Associates Degree AND four (4)years of experience dealing with adolescents or programs for adolescents OR High School Diploma or equivalency diploma AND six (6) years of experience dealing with adolescents or programs for adolescents
Special Requirements
Candidates must be at time of examination and for at least four months prior thereto residents of City of New Rochelle

APPLICATION FEE: A fee of $30.00 is required for this examination.

If you are disqualified or fail to appear for this examination, YOUR FEE IS NOT REFUNDABLE. APPLICATION FEE WAIVER: A waiver of application fee will be allowed if you are unemployed and primarily responsible for the support of a household.
In addition, a waiver of application fee will be allowed if you are determined eligible for Medicare, or receiving Supplemental Security Income payments, or Public Assistance (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families/Family Assistance or Safety Net Assistance) or are certified Job Training Partnership Act/Workforce Investment Act eligible through a State or local social service agency.
