ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for identifying areas of process improvement within the site and implementing improvement projects by attaining agreement from impacted areas and within the gmp guidelines and site quality procedures.
Responsible for providing support and guidance to functional areas as they perform diagnostics to identify the current state of department performance, establish and implement data collection methods to define metrics and KPI's, set targets and track results.
Responsible for conducting workshops such as Root Cause Problem Solving, Kaizen events and training sessions to build capabilities and skills using tools contained in the Teva Production System.
Responsible for leading department planning workshops and data impact analysis to assist in the development of tactical improvement plans consisting of actions, resources and timelines to achieve high impact results.
Responsible for providing departmental and individual coaching, mentoring and training that supports the achievement of department and business improvement initiatives.
Responsible for completing all training requirements and maintaining 100% compliance with all assignments.
Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Requires Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent education/experience with a minimum of 8 years relevant progressive experience in a manufacturing environment.
Requires manufacturing experience in a solid oral dosage environment.
Prefer Operational Excellence experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceutical, nutraceutical or food processing industries.
Prefer lean certification.
