  • Conduct industry and product research to synthesize results of quantitative and qualitative analyses identifying key trends, opportunities, and challenges * Engage with key stakeholders to gather insights, solicit feedback, and create solutions that address market needs and enhance Nasdaq's options offering * Assess competitive dynamics, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for differentiation, competitive advantage, and value creation * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and industry thought leadership * Coordinate with internal partners to develop business cases, financial models, and strategic plans to support business development decisions * Monitor and actively participate in regulatory, market structure, and microstructure developments to anticipate potential impact on the US Options business * Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards communicating insights and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders * Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed to address emerging opportunities and challenges * Represent Nasdaq at industry conferences, events, committees, and customer meetings to showcase Nasdaq's leadership position, expertise, and commitment to innovation in US Options * Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree qualified in Business, Finance, Economics, related discipline, or equivalent industry experience* 7+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, investment banking, or a related field, with a focus on financial markets and trading * Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with industry participants, including market makers, broker-dealers, retail brokerage firms, institutional investors, and regulatory bodies, within the options market ecosystem * Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and industry organizations, to drive consensus, alignment, and collective action * Strong understanding of options market structure, trading mechanics, regulatory frameworks, and competitive dynamics, with a track record of identifying market opportunities and driving innovation * Robust quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets, draw actionable insights, and develop data-driven recommendations * Strategic mindset with a combination of creative, tactical, and critical thinking to drive towards solving both business challenges and furthering positive change in the options market ecosystem * Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple priorities delivering quality results under tight deadlines * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools; experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, AWS QuickSight, and PowerBI, preferredCome as You AreNasdaq is an equal opportunity employer.
