Position Summary
Provide daily support to sales force with respect to the Rheinhutte product lines.
This includes technical support (hydraulics or mechanical function), special pricing, and product information. Also, assist other departments with problems that may arise in a product's application in any phase of the order process. Assist on pump school and customer trainings.
Support preparation of business cases, bulletins, success stories to promote products.
Supports Sales in acquiring orders of centrifugal products to $4.9M per year worldwide.
Good understanding of proposals cost to estimate margins and discuss strategic winning propositions to be competitive in the market.
Essential Responsibilities
Assist sales force (direct/indirect) by providing technical information, special pricing, and application support.
Troubleshooting, field problems, pump selections, etc. (for both assigned products and others as directed by inquiry volume)
Coordinate with application specialists globally
When special pricing is required, determine cost and establish appropriate margins.
Assist Order Entry in interpretation, clarification, and execution of customer orders.
Pump School presentations.
Prepare publications such as Application Newsletters and Product News.
Assist Commercial Order Engineering in the interpretation of customer specifications to fully meet the customer's requirements for the application of a product.
Travel to support product training & installation
Assist Product Management on special projects (Bulletins, IOM's, Promotions, Forecasting, etc.)
Position Requirements
Education: BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred)
Experience:
6+ years related pump and application experience
Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Knowledge of plastic and metallic materials a plus.
Excellent communication skills
