Job Summary

Responsible for assisting Sales and Marketing management utilizing communications and advertising materials to effectively present the Company's products and services to customers and prospects. Meets with appropriate Sales and Marketing colleagues to discuss communication needs. Researches and develops supporting marketing materials and presents recommendations to Marketing leadership or internal committee. Serves as a liaison to Care and Field Operations Departments. Provides daily status of projects, deadlines and performance to management. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.

Comcast and Charter Communications will form a 50/50 joint venture that will bring our world-class Flex streaming platform, 4K streaming devices, voice remote and XClass TVs nationwide. You will want to join our innovative team, because together we will develop and offer consumers a next-generation streaming platform, with a world-class user experience and navigation and all the top apps, bringing more choice to the streaming marketplace. Comcast also will contribute XUMO to the joint venture, our free ad-supported service that currently delivers more than 200 unique streaming channels and features hundreds of free content choices.

Job Description

Additional Job Summary Info:

As the Senior Product Marketing Specialist, you will be part of the marketing team, working directly with the sales, product, GTM, and design teams to bring Xumo products and services to life. This role is critical in supporting the go-to-market strategy, focusing on creating positioning, messaging and collateral that highlights the unique value proposition of Xumo for current and prospective customers. A successful candidate for this role will have a passion for marketing and product positioning, and the ability to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously. The role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Position is office based in Irvine, CA- 4 days/week & remote 1 day/week.

  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work for Comcast in the United States without a current or potential future need for sponsorship.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Developing product positioning, compelling messaging, and collateral that resonates with the target audience and aligns with the overarching product marketing strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams.

  • Assisting marketing leadership in developing, managing, and executing GTM plans for launches, new features, and ongoing engagement campaigns in collaboration with marketing, PR/comms, and product teams. Serving as a point of contact for internal partners.

  • Conducting customer research, competitive analysis, and market segmentation in collaboration with internal teams to deeply understand the audience and inform product positioning & messaging to drive engagement.

  • Tracking key performance metrics, analyzing results, and providing actionable recommendations to iteratively refine marketing strategies.

  • Developing and managing launch calendars based on product roadmaps and ensuring deadlines are communicated to cross-functional teams.

  • Initiating, defining, and managing day-to-day marketing activities including developing creative briefs, marketing plans, and product category marketing strategies.

  • Providing direction and leadership to vendors, agencies, and internal creative staff to develop best-in-class creative assets that are produced and delivered on schedule.

  • Understanding and enforcing brand and legal requirements. Driving proactive and consistent communication with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of content, copy, specifications, legal marks, etc. for all materials produced.

  • Building strong partnerships across product management, design, sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to drive seamless execution.

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: $78,029.13 - $117,043.69

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus. Bachelor's Degree
