As a product marketer, you will be responsible for telling the market (and company) the story of Brain Corporation and the transformative power of BrainOS, our proprietary AI robotic technology software platform that automates commercial-grade equipment, including commercial floor care machines. As the Senior Product Marketing Manager for Robotic Applications, you will be responsible for the application of BrainOS in specific industries and to specific use cases, including floor care and material handling. You are expected to be a key advocate to the market and our key stakeholders, including AI and robotics influencers, potential OEM partners, press and analysts and our employees. You will be charged with crafting the strategy around go-to market approaches, and developing the messaging and marketing tactics to support our OEM channel partners.

You will regularly collaborate with a range of stakeholders and form a strong partnership with the Application product managers to provide market and channel input to support product-line strategy. This role will partner with the sales team to identify partner requirements, develop appropriate channel enablement programs, sales tools, and demand generation program to achieve growth targets.

An attention to detail and eye for quality are critical to your success, along with an ability to grasp and present our platform value proposition as applied to specific target market segments. You must understand and communicate the value to our channel partners and help them communicate the value of autonomous mobile robots to their end-customer. You are focused on performance measurement and have the data to prove what's working and what isn't.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Market intelligencebe the expert on our market, channel partners, and their industries -- who they are, how they buy or select technology partners, and their key selection criteria

  • Understand the competitive landscapebe an expert on our competition in specific application markets we serve and how they are positioned

  • Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our channel partners and their end customers

  • Develop go-to-market plans for core applications, including floor-care and material handling, manage launches and the cross-functional implementation of the plan

  • Act as a key thought leader for your application areas externally, including speaking engagements and written works

  • Understand and support our sales channels including sales, business development, and channel partners; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it

  • Understand and document our channel partner's sales and deployment process, identify required tools and supporting materials to shorten sales cycles, and accelerate time-to-business value for the end-customer; Then help establish and/or change sales and marketing processes based on what you learn

What you need

  • 7-10+ years of product marketing experience with at least 5 years of experience in a market-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to partners, customers and prospects; conducting competitor analysis and market research)

  • Demonstrated experience in taking a net new product to market with ownership for strategy, go-to-market, and positioning

  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Product Management to align market requirements and go-to-market plans with product plans and roadmap

  • Demonstrated experience partnering with sales to support pipeline building, understand sales needs and develop tools, and plans to help drive to sales /channel targets

  • Comfortable in start-up environments with proven ability to build plans, drive consensus, and roll-up-sleeves to achieve results

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills --- there is a heavy amount of writing and presenting/selling ideas in this role

  • Prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity; this role requires you to work across functions and departments to bring to life the product. You are at the center of our entire organization, constantly interacting with teammates and partners

  • Experience working in a channel sales model and/or with platform developer communities

  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing; MBA preferred
