The Digital Apps, Games and Services team is looking for an experienced marketer to grow adoption of Amazon Fire TV among developers. In the Senior Product Marketing Manager role, you will develop and deliver go-to-market strategies and demand generation programs to drive and accelerate developer adoption of the Fire TV device ecosystem and voice interactivity related services. You'll also create the value proposition and should become the subject matter expert on the voice of the developer. We are looking for a candidate that brings enthusiasm for this mission, passion for the audience and creativity to challenge our way of thinking.

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be expected to create best-in-class marketing plans and see them through to execution. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will hold a high bar for measurement of marketing activities, and will define success metrics, measurement methods and reporting processes for their efforts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own the development of value propositions, core content, marketing, and go-to-market strategies

  • Craft and develop compelling audience-specific messages and tools (product videos, customer success stories, whitepapers, presentations, eBooks, etc.)

  • Test messages and experiences to optimize for education and customer engagement

  • Work with product management team to distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages

  • Identify and execute on breakthrough product marketing activities that reach the target audience effectively

  • Develop content roadmap for website, blog, and social media sites

  • Develop and launch developer success program (customer testimonials, case studies, video case studies) including strategy, process, and on-going execution

  • Manage external consultants and vendors to deliver on-time and on-budget

  • Work effectively across the organization with groups such as product management, content operations, business development, UX, and consumer marketing to achieve business goals

  • Determine coverage model and resources across programs

  • Manage budget, forecasting and reporting on a monthly basis

  • Work closely with functional teams to achieve business goals

  • Analyze and make recommendations for improved execution and ROI

About the role * Creates and presents the marketing plan to support growth strategies * Makes data driven recommendations regarding product objectives and strategy, positioning, and promotion. * Crafts the audience and product narrative, value proposition and messaging * Develops Integrated Go-to-Market plans, including key product moments (Events, launches) * Supports qualitative and quantitative research to develop key findings and recommended actions to support marketing strategies. * Merges trends and other primary and secondary forms of research with fact based business insights to make data driven decisions. * Provides input into the strategic plan and roadmap for product(s) and features as they evolve and/or launch. * Together with the product team, educate both internal and external audiences about product features and their benefits. Who you are * 7+ years relevant experience, with 5+ years in product marketing in a consumer company * Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions * Experience creating marketing strategy and plans to meet core business objectives * Experience conducting research to inform development of marketing strategy, positioning and messaging approach * Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
