We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Manager to join our fast-paced team in the Digital Biology Group at Bio-Rad Laboratories, where we're changing the world by pushing the boundaries of research and diagnostics with droplets.
Collaborate globally with commercial teams on voice of the customer inputs, competitive
intelligence, and market trends to build robust marketing plans for digital PCR product portfolios.
Define, bring to market and position new products and/or workflows for the translational research, biopharma drug discovery, CRO and biopharma QC markets in line with the group's overall business strategy.
Align market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to customers and non-customers.
Construct and deliver compelling stories to the translational research and biopharma markets that promote the portfolio of products and the customer problems the products are intended to solve.
Responsible for developing global content for sales and support collateral for products in the portfolio, as well as content for web, media, etc.
Contribute to the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, highlighting products at trade shows and conferences, and executing an outbound marketing presence to deliver on the group's sales and revenue goals.
Ensure an atmosphere of cohesiveness and focused collaboration between product managers in the team and adjacent teams, all in the interest of driving the solution forward.
5-7 years of product management and/or market management experience in a directly relevant industry.
At least 1-2 years focused on developing, managing or positioning of products into the biopharma market segment.
Direct people management experience highly desired.
BS/BA in Life Sciences required; MS, MBA or PhD highly desired.
Strong understanding of genomics and molecular technologies, including PCR, qPCR; digital PCR and NGS experience are favorable.
