Senior Product Manager - US Expansion

Location: New York City (onsite 2-3 days per week)

Reporting to: VP Product

Annual Salary: $150,000-$200,000 (+ equity)

Mission

hyperexponential is expanding globally, and we are looking for an entrepreneurial & experienced Product Manager to play a critical role in our growth. You will help launch our Pricing Decision Intelligence platform (hx Renew) to the US market.

This is a unique, exciting, and slightly atypical PM role. You will wear both Product Management & Marketing hats - crafting positioning, driving product discovery, and shaping our core offering to differentiate & win in the US insurance market.

You will be part of a cross-functional "startup within a startup", partner closely with sales & marketing, and also help establish our presence in NYC.

Outcomes

• Adapt hx Renew (our core offering) to the US market, building on our global traction and our initial success with US customers

• Be an integral part of our cross-functional US launch team and support the sales & marketing teams as we build out our revenue engine in the US

• Build relationships with executives & practitioners (actuaries, underwriters, product managers, IT, data & analytics) at key insurance carriers in the US within our ICP

• Define an ambitious, customer-validated US-focused roadmap that helps us build on our competitive advantage and differentiation

Competencies & Skills

• 4-6 years of experience as a Product Manager, and a strong track record working with high-caliber teams that have built stellar products

• An entrepreneurial mindset & experience building products from 0 to 1. You will need to be comfortable with ambiguity and have the ability to learn and adapt quickly

• This is a hybrid PM & Product Marketing role. We are looking for ambitious Product Managers who enjoy spending time outside the building with customers & prospects, and leveraging those learnings to shape & refine the product and positioning

• We prefer prior experience building technical products such as data & analytics platforms, API-first products & platforms. You will need to be comfortable working with a highly technical product and driving customer discovery around integrations & data exchange

• Experience developing relationships with executives & economic buyers. Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade

• Optional: US insurance technology expertise. You have an actuarial or underwriting background, or experience building pricing & rating or underwriting products for the US P&C insurance market
