Senior Product Manager

Position Overview:

Sourgum is seeking a visionary Senior Product Manager to join our full-stack development team. This role is crucial for driving the development of our platforms that aim to transform the waste and recycling industry. Operating within a fast-paced startup environment, you will work closely with many stakeholders and an experienced team, blending industry knowledge with full-stack development expertise.

As a Technical Engineering Manager, you will not only oversee the technical development but also contribute to strategic planning, team mentoring, and the cultivation of an entrepreneurial culture.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a robust product roadmap, aligning with company goals and market demands.
• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear communication and effective project execution.
• Balance the roadmap between leadership stakeholders and user needs, prioritizing features and initiatives based on impact and feasibility.
• Define and document product requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Analyze data from various inputs to inform product decisions and provide direction to engineering and design teams.
• Oversee the success of product launches, ensuring goals are met and best practices are followed.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the B2B SaaS space.
• Proven ability to develop and execute product roadmaps and requirements.
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively presenting and defending ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success.
• Ability to analyze data and provide strategic guidance to teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the waste collection/logistics industry or ERP software development.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving complex projects.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

What You'll Do:

• Develop a deep understanding of the waste collection industry and the needs of our customers.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to define go-to-market strategies and identify revenue opportunities.
• Partner with engineering teams to develop and evangelize product priorities and roadmaps.
• Act as an industry expert, providing thought leadership through talks and other public engagements.
• Drive the adoption of best practices and high-quality standards for product delivery.
