What does a great Senior Product Manager (P2P Payments) do?

You will lead the product roadmap and delivery for Peer to Peer payment (P2P) products, such as Zelle, targeted at the Small to Midsize Financial Institution and reseller market segments. You will define requirements based on the unique needs of the target market and drive product development activities, go-to-market strategies, and cross-functional alignment, across the enterprise. You will have the opportunity to drive sustainable turn-key product work designed to maximize custom utility while driving efficient implementation cycles.

As a Senior Product Manager (P2P Payments), you can look forward to:

  • Leading cross functional and multi-disciplinary teams, to bring new products and features to market, in a high complexity and ambiguity environment

  • Researching and defining customer needs and translating those needs into user stories and functional requirements in an agile development environment

  • Defining minimum viable product and balances trade-offs between time, effort, investment, and value dimensions

  • Collaborating with delivery teams including development, user experience, business analysts, and product owners to ensure that products meet the desired market need.

  • Collaborating with multiple marketing and sales organizations across the enterprise to clearly communicate product benefits and competitive differentiation.

  • Leading go-to-market activities to ensure that new products and features are successfully launched and supported across the organization.

  • Working with product leadership and finance to build the product business case as well as customer pricing.

  • Leading through influence across a matrix organization with disparate geographic team members

  • Building rapport and relationships with clients, and collects feedback in order to improve Fiserv's products and market position

  • Monitoring competitive offerings in the market and driving differentiated value proposition for Fiserv products

Basic qualifications for consideration:

  • Bachelor's degree. Relevant equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement.

  • Minimum 6 years of Product Management experience in financial services or software industry.

  • Experience working in an Agile environment.

  • Experience writing user stores and/or functional requirements for technical teams.

  • Project Management experience leading highly technical software projects across large cross-functional teams.

  • Experience leading the development of mobile based products and services from concept to support and maintenance phases.

  • Deep understanding of mobile products and technologies from native development and browser based user experiences.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-geography and/or international teams where high-levels of collaboration are required.

  • Experience working with marketing and communication teams.

  • Experience with making a business case for a particular project or product.

Preferred qualifications for consideration:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA)

  • Experience working with and leading social network based products and services

  • Experience building new and innovative products and services for new market opportunities

  • Product management experience in a financial services environment

  • Electronic payments experience

  • Experience working with User Experience & design teams

The goals of the position are to focus on the core product, user experience, program, service and solutions for loyalty and rewards focused on the lottery and gaming industry. Specifically, the position has the charter of defining and managing the overall product and program, market needs and new innovations, business and competitive analysis, overseeing development and definition of customer-facing solutions, defining selling and marketing plans, and managing the product roadmap. Essential Job Functions: * Product definition, program, positioning and pricing – Accountable for articulating the value proposition, key business benefits, and differentiated market positioning for a Lottery Loyalty and Rewards program. Direct product lifecylcle planning and develop product roadmaps, optimize and evolution plans designed to deliver outstanding differentiation in the market, facilitate product efficiencies, and enhance the product solution. Create business-oriented Market Requirement Documents. Work with Business Analysts to create technology-oriented Product Requirement Documents to define solutions that are technically sound based on effective user experiences across web and mobile channels, and well-differentiated from competitive alternatives. * Marketing Intelligence - Manages competitive analyses and information of market demand and review of competitive products, including cabilities and features. Research and analyze emerging solutions and business strategies. Monitor customers' needs/trends, technical and regulatory requirements, market position changes, and product innovations. Review product performance and analytics to optimize and improve solutions and marketing programs. Conduct SWOT analyses to better understand trends and solutions. * Product development – Provide leadership on the direction of the product. Work with cross functional development teams as a core team member to create market driven solutions. Facilitate idea generation and input from stakeholders. Ensure the consumer and customer voice are integrated into product solution. Create business-oriented market requirements documents to ensure product solves valuable problems. Position Requirements Qualifications Education: * Bachelor's degree with major course work in product management, product marketing, or a related field is required. Master's degree preferred. Experience: * Minimum of 5 years proven product management experience. Knowledge of lottery and gaming products is helpful. * Background in loyalty, rewards, or similar field is required. * Expertise in digital channels, marketing and products is critical. * Accredited Product Management Certification is a strong plus.
