Product Manager/Sr Product Manager - International

Overstock continues to expand internationally; our International team creates unique products & features to position Overstock as a favorite shopping destination for consumers in every country.

We are looking for a self-motivated Senior/Product Manager who is passionate about creating products that are used by millions. Our team solves a variety of new and unique challenges, creating new products from ideation to production. We move quickly, use data to drive our decisions, and deliver products and analytics to consumers around the world.

What you'll do:

Research, Analysis and Data gathering

  • Global market analysis, segmentation, and insight gathering

  • Become an expert in identifying opportunities in the marketplace

  • Monitor country-level industry trends and competitive activities, and positioning Overstock to win

  • Evaluate data on international product usage and performance to optimize and customize our international product offerings

  • Conduct market analysis on future product expansion, evaluating market dynamics, competitor offerings, partnership opportunities, and legal/regulatory considerations

Product Roadmap, Growth and Execution

  • Develop and drive the Overstock's international product roadmap, in close collaboration with the international business managers and engineering teams

  • Understand and manage the unique opportunities and challenges of each international retail market and adapt the Overstock product and business model

  • Collect, vet, and prioritize ideas for potential product enhancements to Overstocks' existing international product offering

  • Conduct market and consumer research to ensure customer needs and market opportunities are reflected within product priorities

  • Develop and drive go-to-market strategies that align sales, marketing, and customer success to maximize the value captured from the market

  • Ensure the sales, customer success, and marketing organizations understand the opportunity, competitive landscape, are able to properly position Overstock, and have the necessary tools to win

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in consumer product management

  • Bachelor's degree from a top school required

  • Previous product management and rollout experience, internationally preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to build and manage a stack ranked product roadmap

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation experience

  • Tenacious self-starter with the ability to work independently

  • Ability to effectively liaison with cross-functional teams, and ability to adapt style to work closely with varying personality types and cultures

  • Good sense of humor and enthusiasm for working in fast-paced and innovative environment

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the incumbent to sit, stand and perform general office functions. The incumbent may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
