TITLE: Senior Product Manager


NCR's Telecom & Technology (T&T) division is seeking a highly qualified services offer manager to lead its Enterprise Networking practice within the global Offer Management organization. The Enterprise Networking Senior Services Offer Manager will focus on building and evolving high-growth, high-value managed services inclusive of consultative, field (deployment and maintenance), and remote services for national and multinational enterprise clients via strategic relationships with leading communications service providers (CSP) and network technology manufacturers (a.k.a., OEMs). Relevant technology domains include Optical Networking, Routing/Switching, WAN Optimization/Visibility, SD-WAN, and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV)Responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as day-to-day leader of Enterprise Networking practice reporting to the Offer Management Senior Director

  • Work in conjunction with internal stakeholders to identify, define, and create full solutions with an emphasis on service offers that can be sold worldwide by T&T sales teams

  • Develop full solution documentation including market sizing, solution strategy and roadmaps, service design, customer-facing presentations, statements of work, pricing strategies, service enablement strategies inclusive of training, tools, and lab equipment needs for a global solution.

  • Solution development involving input from cross-functional stakeholders including sales, service delivery, and CSP/OEM customers

  • Understand competitive dynamics and maintain a current market analysis

  • Communicate, influence and work with internal and external decision makers to ensure they understand and agree on the strategy

  • Work with marketing, sales, and other customer advocates to drive the field and customer engagement plans

  • Act as Enterprise Networking subject matter expert, training leader, and advisor to various internal, partner, and customer organizations

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or other relevant field, with 10-12 years of services offer management experience with an enterprise managed services provider (preferred), CSP, and/or relevant OEM

  • Deep knowledge of enterprise networking technologies including optical networking (a critical requirement), routing/switching, and WAN optimization/visibility from the perspective of CSPs, OEMs, and enterprises.

  • Extensive understanding and involvement with complex network solutions and optical technology

  • Experience with field services (installation, field maintenance), remote services (remote monitoring and management), and/or professional services (consulting, design, proof of concepts)

  • Ability to directly engage customers and sales teams in positioning opportunities and recommendations.

  • Familiarity with leading hardware and software providers including Cisco (including Viptela), Juniper, Ciena, Nokia, Huawei, Riverbed, F5, VeloCloud, Palo Alto Networks, Checkpoint, Fortinet.

  • Exposure to international markets, working with CSPs, technology OEMs, Systems Integrators, IT outsourcers, and/or major technology services providers

  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel as well as other common software programs

  • Superior verbal and written English communication skills, secondary languages a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS or MBA is desired

  • Ability to lead virtual team efforts, partner across organizational boundaries, and influence product direction

  • Demonstrated capacity to take abstract technical and business concepts and communicate them to drive adoption

  • Conceptual and practical (i.e., use cases) understanding of Software Defined Networking (including SD-WAN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) architecture, including controllers, APIs, business applications, and compatible hardware

  • Relevant industry certifications such as ITIL or ISO20k, CCNA/CCNP or equivalent, CISA/CISP

Within their designated enterprise product line, Sr. Product Managers work closely with teams of developers, designers, and business partners. They support in-depth business reviews, communicate and present across all levels of the organization and support cross-functional product teams. Importantly, the Sr. Product Manager, must be able to work at the strategic level (generating innovative ideas for growth, change management) and at the tactical level (analyzing data, solving problems, being a force multiplier and leader of their teams). The Sr. Product Manager is often responsible for products that are higher-profile and/or that are larger in scope.
