We're out to build a premier product team. As Senior Product Manager for Machine Learning Servicesyou will be accountable for defining our machine learning capabilities and collaborating with partner teams to bring to life new experiences. We work closely with Data Science, UX and Engineering to identify new opportunities and guide products from conception to launch by demonstrating customer empathy and collaboration with a highly iterative cross-discipline team.

This role is based in Austin, TX. Relocation assistance is available.

  • 8 years of experience working in Product Management or related software development disciplines

  • Deep customer passion

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

What You'll Do

  • Embed with Engineering team to help figure out the best technical implementation methods to fit the business and customer needs.

  • Understand customer needs and identify the define the product vision and strategy.

  • Launch and develop new products on a regular basis.

  • Design and drive the overall vision and product strategy to a coherent whole.

  • Lead internal partnerships to optimize growth.

Serves as subject matter expert in program functionality and capability. Develops strategy and process for implementation & deployment of programs, provides lifecycle support and data analysis. Serves as project manager from intake through deployment, program analysis and onto sustainability. Ultimately this role drives initiatives to enhance existing services and new programs, improve team member satisfaction, implement process efficiency, demonstrate organizational contribution/success and ensure team member and stakeholder engagement across the organization. This position is based in Austin, TX. Responsibilities: Develop and Establish Implementation Process for New Unified Training Programs: * Key role in defining the deployment process and implementation of Unified Training programs. Work with key business stakeholders, learning and technical teams to maximize program ability to meet WFM's business needs. Must be able to lead indirectly in an environment of change. Develop standard operating procedures and process flows, including the creation and maintenance of mechanisms and documentation that support the deployment of unified training programs. Design processes that simplify complexity, reduce risk and achieve results. Develop and maintain documentation for programs such as SOPs, project plans, rigorous communication plans, process documentation, train-the-trainer materials, guides and job aids. Manage the implementation of Unified Training Programs: * Must be comfortable managing the complexity and risk of new learning programs. Requires in-depth understanding of the determined learning experience (as designed), balanced with practical know-how about how to successfully deploy within the WFM environment. Works with Global L&D, Change Enablement and technical teams to define processes and integrate with other programs as necessary. Coordinates with key stakeholders to manage the deployment and sustainability of unified training programs from pilot to companywide scale-out. Produce Unified Training Launches: * Coordinate pilots and company-wide Unified Training Launches. Initiates new programs with key stakeholders and Regional counterparts by functioning as a producer; to support and offer guidance to our Regional leadership, administrative support teams and facilitators. Through presenting and modeling the program experience and support structure, Regional teams will then be able to run additional program launches inside of their Regions with occasional training or support. Efforts will result in a seamless, engaging learning experience for our Team Members in Regional offices as well as at our stores. Provide programmatic support: * Offers the guidance, support, and encouragement as needed to support the lifecycle of the Unified Training Programs assigned. Provides support to key stakeholders and program analysis through lifecycle, from kick-off, enrollment, strategic check-ins and on through to completion/graduation or certification. Works closely with Instructional Design team to understand the nuances and design decisions of learning programs that will inform the development of suitable implementation process and practice. Deliver Program training to Global Support and Regional staff as needed, including the coordination of Train-the-trainer and ongoing support training. Provide Program support to key stakeholders, track escalated issues and inform users of resolution. Measure and tell the story of program impacts: * Plays a key role in gathering and compiling data in a way that communicates the impact of our programs on our Team Member's as well as our business. Has the business acumen and technical aptitude to pull together insights from multiple data sources to tell a meaningful story. Conduct Program audits to monitor and report on adoption, performance, and growth. Use these reports to inform Program strategy. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree preferred, especially in Education, Technology, Human Resources, or Business * Experience managing programs for delivery in a retail or enterprise training environment * Outstanding project management skills (Lean, Agile) balancing detail with the ability to influence * Exceptional organizational and trouble-shooting skills * Extraordinary written and oral communication skills * Experience leveraging technology to support learning, such as video conferencing (required), online materials, tablets/mobile devices on the sales floor (preferred), survey tools, data analysis tools, etc. * Know how to build and leverage a network * Ability to lead indirectly and influence where appropriate * Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills * Develops engaging, collaborative, productive stakeholder relationships * Experience with Learning Systems or other technical systems along with the ability to quickly learn new systems * Ability to tell a meaningful story with data * Experience creating job-aids or support materials preferred * Experience in retail or enterprise training preferred * Experience with eLearning authoring output and mobile learning technologies a plus * Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) as well as project management tools like asana, Trello, Jira/Confluence.
