Senior Product Manager
Location: Morgantown, PA
How You Will Make an Impact?
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for product lifecycle planning and execution throughout the development process. Define the customer, research, gather and prioritize voice of customer requirements, innovate creative solutions, define the product, and build profitable business cases. Must be capable of leading cross functional teams working closely with engineering, procurement, sales, and marketing to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
The Nuts and Bolts
Define the product strategy and roadmap across multiple product segments
Manage the Long-Range Plan (All-New, Mid-Cycle Actions, and Features)
Conduct market, product, feature, and pricing research to inform decisions
Lead the innovation and ideation process, own the VOC and Concept Approval gates
Deliver Market Requirement Documents (MRD) and Product Requirement Documents (PRD) with prioritized features and corresponding customer and market-based justification
Prepare key materials for governance review and approval
Working with engineering, ensure that all product objectives are delivered to the approved targets during the development phase
Identify partnerships and licensing opportunities to deliver new features and products
Serve as the in-house expert with knowledge of the competitors, industry, and customers
Required Credentials
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager
3+ years of related professional experience within the transportation industry
Demonstrated ability to simplify complex issues, develop a compelling point of view, and persuasively make the case for change, leading to action
Prior success defining and launching innovative and customer centric products
Passionate advocate for the voice of the customer, experience with Human Centered Design concepts and Design Thinking
Demonstrated experience managing complex product road maps and product planning
Demonstrated experience managing gated product delivering processes
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams with excellent teamwork skills
Advanced working knowledge of data systems (IHS, Wards, FTR, etc.)
Expert level skills in MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel) and data analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Travel up to 20%
Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required. At times, this job operates in a manufacturing plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
