This position is as a member of the Product Department at 365 Retail Markets, and reports to the Vice President of Product. The Senior Product Manager will lead the design and direction of the company's data insights and advertising offerings. Among other responsibilities as defined below, the Senior Product Manager's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting the strategic planning for our data insights, providing oversight to all key performance indicators (KPIs) for the data insights and analytics service as a business, and will work as the liaison between the Technology team, sales, and Product teams. He or she should maintain a familiarity with current business issues, objectives, and strategies of data analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of change to existing data product and new product or services as assigned, including detailed governance of and engagement in activities in the design-to-deploy process as needed

  • Assess marketing opportunities, identify target markets and methods to gain access into those markets, develop ways and means of enhancing the value of existing data products, promote new product development, and capture new project

  • Contribute to the innovation and product improvement life cycle, including owning the business case and the subsequent launch of data product improvements

  • Act as a liaison to the Sales and Marketing teams and provide product knowledge support

  • Lead your team to execute industry event planning initiatives that position 365 Retail Markets as a leader in innovation with respect to data products and services

  • Manage and communicate sales information and product changes both internally and externally

  • Communicate expectations and provide necessary materials and training to Support team resources managing post-sales customer service

  • Oversee execution of mid-office operations, design appropriate KPIs, and manage the business according to approved KPIs

  • Regularly perform pricing and competitive analysis by customer channel and recommend strategies to improve market position, improve quality or reduce costs

  • Establish and maintain relationships with business partners to help facilitate business execution

  • Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Product or Leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Business, Finance, or a related area and a minimum of 5-6 years of related experience and/or training; Master's degree (M.A.) preferred;

  • Experience with Predictive Analytics, Statistics and Data Science

  • Experience with data models and insights/reporting is preferred

  • Experience with CPG brands and food service Operators preferred

  • Experience with software life cycles is preferred

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong research and analysis skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Self-managed, self-starter able to work in rapidly changing environment, with the ability to deal effectively with ambiguity, learn new tasks independently, make decisions, and take action

  • Able to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments, business partners, and employees in a team-oriented environment with a customer-service orientation
