Team Overview:

The Commercial Marketing team is responsible for product management and marketing all aspects of commercial roofing system products. The team interacts with a multitude of departments including R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Creative, Digital, Finance, Sales, and numerous external vendors as well as customers. All members of the team are considered to be subject matter experts and have a strong cross functional knowledge of the entire product offering.

Summary:

We are seeking a Sr Product Manager, Adhesives, Sealants, & PMMA to join our Commercial Marketing team and lead the effort to manage our adhesives, sealants, and PMMA portfolios. The marketing team is responsible for product and brand management. The group develops business to business marketing strategy and is heavily involved in hands-on general management and execution in the manufacturing industry. GAF's performance culture and relatively flat organization give tremendous opportunity to make a difference and deliver impact with a relatively high degree of autonomy in a lean and fast-paced environment. Adhesives, cleaners, and sealants are a high growth area for GAF and the Sr Product Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of the category and implementing the strategy. The categories include all membrane adhesives for single ply and commercial asphalt technologies, (Canister, buckets, etc), sealants (One part moisture and solvent based), and GAF PMMA.

Essential Duties:

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• New Product Development: work cross-functionally across both the GAF and Siplast brands with R&D, Manufacturing, and Sales to identify and execute new product introductions. Multiple new product introductions expected on an annual basis.

• Ability to understand the performance of different chemistries and application methods

• Be responsible for working with contractors, technical team, and training teams to qualify new adhesives and sealants

• Work with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to identify new application methods for products

• Work closely with Sales and customers to evaluate opportunities to grow sales within the current product offering by optimizing the portfolio.

• Oversee the development and implementation of training materials including videos, brochures, and webpages

• Support other Product Managers in development of adhesives and sealants to further grow their categories

• Work with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to ensure there's steady supply of product while minimizing risk

• Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure the all documentation including packaging, websites, and all other product information is up to date

• Marketing Management: develop a strategic marketing agenda; apply creativity and flair to realize agenda through promotions, videos, literature and samples, advertising, and merchandising.

• Business Review and Optimization: identify and realize business improvements on enhancement of mix and profitability

• 6+ years of experience in product management experience and the commitment and passion to apply this experience in a business to business marketing setting

• Experience in commercial roofing

• Self-starter and a fast learner, natural leader, collaborative, and possess extremely strong interpersonal-skills

• Ability to present and interface directly with the sales team and customers

• Strong project management and multi-tasking skills

• Ability to travel up to 33%

Annual Salary Range: 126,000-161,000
