We at FileMaker, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple Inc., the top standalone desktop database company, are searching for a Server Software Engineer. We have an established product line and large customer base, and we are advancing existing technologies and developing new and exciting products.

This position located in Santa Clara, California, you will design and implement features with Product Management and Marketing.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience leading design, feature breakdown and projects/products from inception to shipped software

  • Consistent track record of hiring, and developing great product managers

  • Passionate problem solver, designing and building the best solutions for the most meaningful problems

  • Able to see around corners for future products, so that we build at a platform, rather than project level

  • 5+ years hands-on software product design and/or development experience

  • Works well with a team, and able to build new relationships

  • Ability to communicate thoughtfully, leveraging problem-solving skills and a learning mindset to build long-term relationships

  • Great interpersonal skills, as the role will be embedded in a very matrixes organization

Education & Experience

The Product Manager for Recruiting Enterprise Software is a new senior level position within our Global Recruitment Technology team. This role will bring recruitment domain knowledge to improve our enterprise recruitment system, user interfaces, workflows and collaboration through internal analysis and external benchmarking. You also will create the integrated roadmap by conducting feature analysis, requirements gathering, technical specification development & prioritization, and feature performance evaluation. Description Apple is seeking an ambitious Product Manager to play a central role in the development of new features and enhancements in Recruitment Enterprise System. In this hands-on position, you will collect and synthesize input from different internal teams, prioritize these requirements, advise on their implementation, and partner with our People Business Process Re-engineering and IS&T teams to document workflows and processes to guide complex features to a successful launch. This will require you to prioritize, lead cross-functional discussions, guide prioritization of competing requirements, and consolidate them into a detailed, actionable plan that aligns with stakeholders' expectations.
