We're looking for an experienced product leader with deep expertise of the digital marketing ecosystem and an understanding of how users want to use video for marketing campaigns. The Brightcove platform is used by digital marketers to publish engaging video experiences that delight their viewers and drive value for their businesses. Based on your understanding of the martech ecosystem, you will define the next generation of applications for digital marketing customers. These applications must be easy to use, deliver a best-in-class viewer experience, and create clear customer value.
Our ideal candidate will use UX design thinking to develop differentiated product designs, validating these designs with customer visits and feedback. This person will also have the ability to take a position using facts to defend it, but also have the flexibility to accept feedback and change course when better ideas present themselves.
Drive the vision and business case for key video marketing applications
Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to identify requirements, analyze market opportunities and set product vision
Manage UX design and beta programs to gather customer feedback and ensure successful releases
Prepare the cross-functional organization to market, sell, deliver, and support these application products
Manage product requirements, technical dependencies, engineering backlog, and product roadmap to execute on the product vision
Work closely with strategic partners to facilitate integrations and joint solutions that will enhance the value of the applications in the market
5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in the marketing technology space
Demonstrated ability to present to business audiences
Experience defining a customer value proposition and driving a business case for a product investment
Strategic thinker with detail-oriented execution in a way that gets things done in a fast-paced, globally distributed organization
Strong collaborator that is also sufficiently self-directed to proceed with confidence when feedback is unavailable or ambiguous
