The Senior Product Manager is a marketing brand leader for Orapharma's dental portfolio (Arestin, Neutrasal, OSSIX, etc.). This includes executing marketing plans, strategies and tactics; providing strong sales support, market analyses and ad-hoc marketing reports; working with internal and external stakeholders to drive brand positioning and messaging; executing new product launches.
This position requires extensive product launch experience, intellectual curiosity, the ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
Manage the launch of new products
Participate in the development of effective marketing strategies and tactics
Responsible for marketing tactics to meet or exceed sales and margin expectations
Participate in life cycle planning for assigned brands, including preparation for any line extensions
Establish and maintain effective channels of communication to drive the understanding of opportunities, best practices, market position and customer opinions
Serve as a liaison between Marketing and the U.S. Sales Team.
Interface with product line consultants and key opinion leaders
Establish metrics for all marketing programs
Campaign management of assigned products, including development of promotional and campaign materials, ad copy, ads, product brochures, sales aids, multimedia materials, technical articles, trade show demonstrations and promotional events
Education: BA/BS required. MBA a plus.
7+ years of sales/marketing experience-surgical/medical/ dental field preferred. Successful branded Rx product launch and sales experience are beneficial
Working knowledge of marketing theory, principles and practices within the pharmaceutical industry (i.e., regulatory environment, pricing, distribution, promotion, customer needs)
Strong analytic skills

Demonstrated track record of successfully coordinating the efforts and results of multiple functional areas
