We are looking for an innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager to join the Amazon Advertising Global Scaled Services Order Management System (OMS) team. The Global Scaled Services OMS team aims to make the order management tool intuitive and easy to use in order to empower users in the order management process; thereby enhancing the overall end user experience. We strive to standardize and simplify the order management workflows, simplify and streamline our product catalog, and increase overall efficiency and accuracy of campaign management by driving the integration with our core advertising products.
The Senior Product Manager will have a strong background in program/product innovation as they define, develop, deliver and iterate on the global order management strategy for Amazon Advertising; inclusive of approval workflows, product catalog simplification, invoice order generation, and all contractual elements of the campaign lifecycle. In this role, you will own the strategic OMS vision for the business, using data to make key decisions and working with stakeholders to implement this strategy worldwide. You will interact with clients, internal partners and senior leadership to identify and implement strategies to support continuous improvement and growth within our advertising business. You will globally own the long-term vision, strategic roadmap, global socialization and sign off, implementation, and success metrics of our end state Order Management System.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the growth and success of Amazon Advertising. Candidates will have experience in roadmap strategy and development, managing cross-functional platform and product teams, strong focus on the customer experience, leveraging data in defining and prioritizing solutions, and iterating for continuous improvement. They will be the technical subject matter expert for the Advertising Order Management System. They will also have the following qualifications:
BA or BS degree
5+ years product management experience
Experience with agile or other program / project management methodologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing cross-functional programs, including external and internal stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to own projects, think big and influence across all levels of an organization
Ability to establish and manage your business/product to a set of key metrics and goals
Acumen for building business cases and feature prioritization based on price/value analysis.
Bachelor Degree in a technical field
Experience in the Advertising industry
Proven experience in building and driving execution on large complex projects
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
Experience working with external agencies
