Our Company

Changing the world through digital experiences is what Adobe's all about. We give everyone-from emerging artists to global brands-everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences! We're passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.

We're on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!

The Opportunity

The Senior platform product manager will work across our platform teams and partners to deliver a unified SDK vision and strategy. The Content & Collaboration SDK provides programmatic capabilities and common UI components that are the building blocks for enabling web, desktop and mobile applications to deliver outstanding experiences to our customers, including multi-player live collaboration, cloud documents, sharing, and commenting. You will work cross functionally with teams delivering these capabilities and play a meaningful role in enabling our partners, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Express, Firefly, and more to bring exceptional collaboration experiences market.

What You'll Do

This influential role will work closely with architecture, engineering, data science, product managers, and developer experience teams to drive a vision, strategy, and delivery of our SDK. In this role you will define what makes a great developer experience, drive business level objectives, as well as bring the technical chops needed to engage with architecture and engineering. This role will:

  • Foster partner relationships: Build a world class SDK offering for our partners and drive developer adoption by communicating a clear strategy and value.

  • Drive strategic accountability: Provide regular progress updates with senior leaders on business goals, wins, objectives and key results, development cycles, customer feedback, and innovation ideas.

  • Prioritize and enable: Be the go-to point of contact to analyze, triage, and prioritize relevant inbound requests and ensure clear communication on status.

  • Provide consultation: Act as the liaison for developers from partner teams, helping to guide and unblock.

  • Leverage customer research and analytics: Engage closely with platform and partner PM's as well as data science to identify (and quantify) existing and new opportunities.

Formula For Success:

  • Experience having led at least one SDK or developer focused product offering from concept to launch to ongoing post-launch adoption.

  • Strong ability to lead through influence, debate, and storytelling, especially by conveying findings to senior leaders in a clear, concise, and credible manner

  • Understand the needs of developers while also bringing a strong empathy for the end user experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build a narrative from scratch by delivering compelling presentations and documents.

  • Self-starting critical thinker who demonstrates adaptivity in a dynamic and at times ambiguous environment. Ability to context switch as well as maneuver between technical details and seeing the big picture.

  • Strong attention to detail and experience exercising influence; translating concepts between business owners and technical teams

  • Strongly preferred: A technical background working with web, desktop, and/or mobile development. Familiarity with development of (or use of) shared libraries and SDKs in C/C++, JavaScript, or other languages backed by cloud services.
