Your role and responsibilities
As a Sr. Product Manager, you will be a key member of the Electrification Installation Products product management team.
The Sr. Product Manager is responsible for the immediate and long-term profitable growth and marketing of the portfolio. In this role, you will oversee all steps in the life cycle of products, systems, or services, including development, launch, maintenance, pricing and profitability of the assigned products in the U.S.
This position is hybrid, and can be based in either Memphis, TN or Athens, TN. Relocation assistance will be offered. You will be mainly accountable for: • Ownership of the entire product life cycle process from cradle to grave for multiple product lines within our Steel City Essentials portfolio. • Managing the product strategic road map. Work with internal teams such as R&D, Engineering, Production, Operations, Marketing and Sales to ensure overall alignment. • Developing and initiating a business plan to achieve continued growth and profitability in the marketplace. • Creating and developing internal and external product training modules and programs that cover value proposition, product positioning, application specifics, and competitive advantages.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
10+ years of experience in Product Management and/or Marketing
Sound knowledge of new product development, product lifecycle management, project management, and pricing.
Demonstrated experience of developing and managing marketing and sales strategy
Proficient in Power BI, Excel, Microsoft Office; Knowledge and experience of SFDC and SAP
A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and relationship-building skills
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
