This will include such duties as making sure customer requirements are met and maintained, leading ongoing design changes as needed, specifying and helping to design general tooling all the way up to complex test equipment, specifying and establishing production metrics, creating and maintaining production processes and ultimately training production personnel on the new product line. In the end, the Senior Product Engineer will ensure that the production environment of the new product line is stabilized at which point the responsibilities will be handed over to the Production Sustainment team. In the course of normal Product Engineering duties, some travel can be expected, both domestically and internationally, to support Customer, Vendor and other MOOG facility visits.
