The Member team focuses on the holistic experience from the moment a member creates an account to when they're ready to make important decisions in their financial journey. We engage our members by providing the tools, content, and insights to get their money right and work collaboratively with product teams to offer a unified and personalized experience on the platform. In 2019 we are working on exciting new initiatives and are looking for a Senior Product Designer to take the SoFi Member experience to the next level.

We created student loan refinancing, addressing the biggest financial challenge of a new generation through a modern approach to lending and personal finance. SoFi Moneya modern take on a checking or savings account--is our newest innovation and disruption to the financial services industry. SoFi has achieved significant growth, with ambitious plans ahead, but to continue this growth we need great talent. And that starts with you.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Lead Designer to conceptualize, define, and design cross-platform features that create a highly personalized experience for our Members.

  • Create design specs and presentation documents

  • Drive alignment by working collaboratively with engineering, product, marketing, and business stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with design leads for products.

Qualification and Experience

You Have

  • 5+ yrs experience successfully shipping products and features from start to finish.

  • Knowledge of best practices in UI / UX and information architecture across iOS, Android and responsive web.

  • Experience with current design tools (Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Invision).

  • Time management, planning, and collaboration skills.

  • Understanding of how to use data analytics, user testing and research to inform and validate design decisions and focus on constant improvement.

  • Able to effectively communicate design solutions to engineering, product, marketing, business, and executive leadership.

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment using Jira and Confluence.

  • Even Better

  • Experience working on consumer engagement, growth, and social experiences.

  • Experience working with remote teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities * Be able to drive disruptive innovative solutions in a customer centric environment * Build a vision, strategy and own a multi-year product roadmap * Break vision into phases, prioritize and drive backlogs for launch with your dedicated engineering teams * Own BI, instrumentation and data and analysis for your products to drive deep understanding, innovation and product plans. * Be able to lead in a fast paced agile environment * Work with internal project stakeholders from marketing, sales, operations, community and executive management to translate customer needs into a product. * Be able to work closely with engineering to own and dive deep into backlogs , definition of done and technical details. * Lead extensive framework of experimentation in order to drive customer impact. Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or higher with a technical discipline, or equivalent experience * Demonstrated experience shipping commercially successful consumer products to global market segments * Superior communication skills, written and verbal.
