Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

$69,200.00 - $114,200.00

What Is the Opportunity?

The Senior Business Process Specialist, PI Operational Effectiveness will provide domain knowledge for PI Payment and Billing process as part of Enterprise imperative - Payment & Billing Transformation program. This role is critical to the modernization of the current Payment & Billing ecosystem by assisting in the understanding of the current state while driving detailed requirements for our reimagined future state. The role will support the development of efficient workflows to meet the needs of customers, agents, and employees. Additional responsibilities include assisting with process deep dives and data analysis to support recommendations and the case for change.

What Will You Do?

  • Develop and implement workflow solutions and/or alternatives based upon business needs

  • Review, research, collect data and analyze information determine the impact on all operations and offer recommendations and solutions based on analysis

  • Lead SMEs in assessing impact to workflows, procedures and reference materials

  • Key contact for business stakeholders and IT teams for research and development of business requirements for new capabilities

  • Serves as subject matter expert for Market Conduct Exams and Corporate Audits assisting with validation of file reviews and providing critical information to aid the review process

  • Leads functional area discussions of change initiatives and their impact on Business Center job families

  • Works is close partnership with Operations job families to ensure operational readiness before change deployments, specifically training and procedures team

  • Participates in business testing to provide business sign off on changes.

  • Works with Product organization in assigned states to ensure State Rate/Product and Guideline changes are communicated to Business Center staff with appropriate training

  • Leads discussion on workflow solutions and/or alternatives if business needs are required due to system constraints (automation)

  • Effectively interact and lead and coordinate discussions with multiple levels of the organization; summarizing situations and articulating possible solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • May be asked to lead, more complex change initiatives, special projects and train, develop and mentor new and existing staff

  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge

  • College Degree or equivalent experience relevant to the business

  • 3 years experience with insurance business, products and procedures required

  • Lean Six Sigma Experience desired but not required

  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies desired
