We are seeking individuals who are passionate about leading a team in the manufacturing of high quality laminates and films used in a variety of applications including on cabinetry in kitchen and bath applications, countertops and paneling in recreational vehicles and in the enhancement of interior retail spaces. Job Summary The Senior Process Engineer plays an essential role in the value stream. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Engineer is responsible for ensuring finished products meet customer specifications.

This position is also responsible for supporting the production team in day-to-day activities including providing direction to the color lab, printing and lamination, and conducting capability studies as needed. Additionally, this role collaborates with the Technical and R&A teams in new product development and providing technical service to customers. All duties must be performed while driving a culture of Safety and ensuring Safety, Health, and Environmental standards are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Own and drive Safety throughout the facility Manage continuous improvement of processes to deliver high level of customer satisfaction Conducting root cause analyses and identifying corrective actions Maintain calibration database and test equipment Support production in day-to-day activities including color matching and mixing, troubleshoot day-to-day issues, direct printing and embossing, and conduct capability studies Serve as technical resource for customers, sales, and business teams Work closely with product development group on new product introductions Collaborate with Quality Manager and Production Manager to address quality inquiries Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for internal and external customers for product specifications, product sampling, and product data Must be able to multitask and shifting priorities Actively listens and engages with operators and supervisors to ensure safe, efficient, production activities. Collect and analyze data for problem solving, justifications, etc. Owns and manages production related projects.

Support the management of change process. Develops and maintains production related procedures, training materials, and documentation to facilitate consistent and safe manufacturing practices. Support plant wide audits as needed.

Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate with varying levels of expertise. Self-motivated to address issues and drive improvements with little direction.

Ability to strategize and determine where to focus when there are many competing issues/opportunities. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field. 7-10 Years of Manufacturing Experience. Strong customer service orientation Preferred Skills, Ability, Knowledge & Qualifications SAP knowledge and experience Six Sigma or Project Management Certification Laminates &/ Films manufacturing experience Work Environment and Environmental Conditions Few periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 25 pounds as needed.

Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. Frequently positions self to use/maintain personal protective equipment. Comfortable with working in a manufacturing environment alongside machines, equipment, etc.
