Job Title: Process Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Fiber Manager to oversee material handling, stock prep, and recycled fiber operations. This role is responsible for managing approximately 45 hourly operators and collaborates closely with 3 Paper Machine Managers to support daily operations and develop long-term improvement strategies aimed at driving results across all business aspects. The position involves developing and implementing strategies for optimizing the performance of Stock Prep, OCC, and related systems, assessing equipment performance, identifying improvement areas, troubleshooting issues in Fiber Operations, and overseeing the development and implementation of related capital and maintenance projects. Additionally, the role includes creating training programs, maintaining strong internal and external relationships, providing technical support, and ensuring a safe working environment.
Hard Skills
Experience in leading recycled fiber operations
Strong technical knowledge of systems and related equipment within the paper industry
Ability to develop and implement operational strategies
Capability to assess equipment performance and identify improvement areas

Work Site

Work Environment
