Leads sourcing contract negotiations and contract administration for transactions which will frequently be of a strategic nature and likely to impact enterprise-wide. Develops commercial strategies based on broad knowledge of key supply markets and global vendors.
Determines solutions and actions in response to contract asks and identifies contracting issues. Will support the Category Director in all aspects of running the category including review and revision of solutions suggested by more junior team members. Develops and maintains strong stakeholder relationships at the highest level within the firm.

Independently reviews and analyzes contract asks, effectively communicates requirements and determines solutions and actions in response to contract asks. May evaluate solutions and actions proposed by more junior team members using extensive industry experience and advise on improvements.
Serves as the lead for negotiations with all contracting parties. Contracts and contract negotiations are of the highest complexity and global in nature. May advise and coach more junior team members on contract negotiation improvements.
Plays a key role in implementation of the global sourcing strategy for all categories and commodities that support the goals of the business units. Likely to own a full sub-category end-to-end and be responsible for its delivery. Ensures global sourcing methodologies are in alignment with the global strategy of the organization.
Leads contract administration for a large quantity and/or contracts of an enterprise-critical nature. For certain sub-categories, serves as the global sourcing point of contact. Is accountable for outcomes resulting from high dollar and/or high risk sourcing negotiations worldwide.
Responsible for the holistic commercial strategy for key negotiations and/or one or more discrete sub-category of spend - including demand assessment, deal negotiations and implementation planning in partnership with the business. Maintains and develops deep knowledge in industry, emerging market, supplier and sourcing methodology research in order to inform and complete global supplier selection. Provides thought-leadership for specific sub-categories and provides relevant advice to business stakeholders.
Maintains relationships with global business leaders to ensure sourcing needs are met and managed in accordance with global sourcing policies. No direct reports. Provides guidance to more junior staff.
Contributes to the achievement of global objectives. Modified based upon local regulations/requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
Business or Supply Chain degree preferred. Advanced degree preferred. 12+ years of total work experience preferred; understanding of procurement and sourcing processes and practices for the specific categories preferred; demonstrated experience managing large, complex projects and spend categories preferred; demonstrated experience negotiating successful results preferred.
