In this role you will provide technical direction to one or more teams responsible for protecting OCI and its customers from distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks. You will define the technical direction, architecture, work on hard technical problems in distributed systems, scale, security and innovate rapidly with your team to deliver world class services.

We're looking for a Senior Principal Software engineer with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in distributed systems, virtualized infrastructure, networking, security and highly available services.

You should be comfortable with internet protocols, virtual networking and in developing cloud scale security services.

You will be able to architect broad systems interactions, while being hands-on, and be able to dive deep into any part of the stack and higher-level system interactions. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
