This financial planner position sets up profitability packages, ensuring adherence to corporate and industry guidance. Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure financial objectives are understood and being achieved.

Responsible for profitability packages. Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. Performs financial analysis and presents to leadership.

Assists in building LRSP and AOP plan efforts. Builds and maintains profitability packages. Assists with invoicing.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or related field and 10 years of related experience in financial analysis OR a Master's Degree with 8 years of experience.

Must have intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel including conditional formatting, formulas and pivot tables.

Top Secret clearance required (must have been updated within the last 5 years) and the ability to obtain program access.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system. Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled. Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks. Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government. Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field an 10 years or more experience in financial analysis and/or cost analysis OR a Master's Degree with 8 years of experience. Requires Intermediate skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Must have strong hands-on knowledge of EVMS policies and procedures A current Secret clearance is required with ability to obtain program access Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of Business Systems (SAP, MPM, WinSight) Has the ability to identify issues and problems across multiple contracts and make recommendations to management for resolution.
