Responsibilities

Integrated Product Team Lead responsible for establishing and managing program's schedule (IMS) and cost analysis, earned value metric systems (EVMS) baseline, monthly EACs & LRE reporting for both labor and material forecasting for large scale system-on-chip digital ASIC development. The successful candidate will be evaluating and working team's risk and opportunity management to resolve critical issues (ensuring program milestone are met), PDR and CDR, through Baseline Change Request, resource/staffing needs, and technical interchange meetings with Customers.

Candidates will work closely with programs, system engineering and system-on-chip development teams to architect and develop a large custom ASIC (+100 million gates). The candidate must be capable of:

Creating and owning a detailed ASIC development plan and execution to plan that meets program objectives

Understanding and advocating a rigorous and systematic ASIC design processes to ensure design compliance

Functioning in multi-disciplined design teams and working on multiple projects

Interfacing with program office and customer communities to ensure program objectives are achieved

Working with department and section leadership team to appropriately staff, plan and execute on projects

Managing project execution of multiple functional disciplines across multiple sites across Raytheon

Interface with program management and chief engineer as the team's liaison through creating presentations for weekly PPRs and monthly PMRs

Required Skills:

  • At least 8+ years of experience managing large design efforts

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills. Experience presenting to and interfacing with customers (internal and external).

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience as an Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL)

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience working proposals

  • Program Manager Level 5 Certification

  • Earned Value Management Certification

  • Ability to handle a dynamic environment and to coordinate actions, fast learner. Demonstrates initiative, ability to work independently towards program goals.

  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to access US only data systems.

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline is required. Masters' Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline is preferred

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

The IPTL/I&T lead engineer will be part of a team integrating and testing electro-optical systems including imagers and passive/active EO tracking systems. This position will be responsible for flight test planning and coordination with flight test facilities and test ranges, as well as assessing systems performance, developing test requirements, writing test procedures, and supporting the build, and test efforts. The role involves system lab integration, flight platform integration, as well as being able to design and run tests that characterize the system and analyze impacts to performance parameters such as geolocation/LOS, spatial resolution, Wave Front Error (WFE), beam quality, and spectral response. The role also involves familiarity of verification and test activities and to assist in system performance experiments in the lab and in the flight test field. Additionally, this role requires cost account management (CAM) and earned value measurement system (EVMS) reporting to both program and functional leadership.
