Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Configuration Management Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in McClellan, CA. Put your years of experience into a future of excellence. The qualified applicant will become part of the System Engineering CM team, which supports multiple programs by providing planning and coordination of process and project documentation including engineering drawings, specifications, functional procedures and forms, customer deliverable data, and the preparation and release of technical documentation.
Specific Roles and Responsibilities:
Create and maintain UID labels for deliverable hardware.
Interact frequently with data originators, program managers and customer representatives concerning project Configuration Management processes, deliverables and data scheduling requirements, or contractual clarifications.
Ensure all Statement of Work (SOW) data requirements and schedules are met in a timely manner.
Generate change orders against impacted hardware, firmware, and documentation and present them for the evaluation at the program Change Control Board (CCB), which manages documentation for the program and/or subcontractor.
Generate configuration management plan and manage execution to plan.
Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.
Perform physical configuration audit.
Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of relevant work experience (Note: an additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
4 years of Configuration Management experience
Experience writing procedures and training material
Familiarity with AS9100 standards
Ability to obtain Secret clearance
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline
Experience working in a QA and manufacturing environment
Familiarity with DFARS requirements
Experience with UID processing
Experience with PCA
Experience conducting briefings and technical meetings for internal representatives
Experience working in a DoD hardware/software development and integration environment
Configuration Management certification
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access)
