Your role at SIXT

Sixt is looking for a Sr. Pricing & Commercial Development Analyst to support SIXT US in all demand & pricing related matters. The Analyst will be the driving force behind transforming numbers into decisions. Your mission is to harness the power of data to inform our business strategies, guide our decision-making, and unlock opportunities for growth. You will assist in implementing pricing strategies and provide support for day-to-day questions by working closely with internal departments globally. This individual will act as a subject matter expert on pricing & demand concerns (strategy, competitor data, market trends, etc.), and will be hands-on with multiple internal systems and will communicate information and metrics to various departments.

  • Set standards for pricing with your analyses and ensure the achievements of defined targets

  • You are responsible for market and profit-oriented product and pricing and develop strategies to achieve market share, sales and margin targets

  • You create pricing models for various customer segments and implement new products in the area of pricing

  • You make systematic observations, analyses and profitability checks of your market with respect to current market prices and sales data.

  • Participate in the design of internal reporting systems and the implementation of relevant ad hoc analyses

  • Manage projects for optimization in the field of revenue management and pricing.

What you bring with you

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Familiarity with target group segmentation, competition analysis, price control, and profit

optimization

  • Excellent computer skills, and strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau)
  • Ability to multi-task and distribute efforts appropriately among tasks, manage competing

deadlines, handle frequent interruptions, and maintain a high level of productivity

  • Experience in SQL, databases, or Visual Basic a plus

  • Strong analytical mindset and distinct understanding of numbers High degree of organizational and time management skills

  • Work accurately, independently, in a structured, goal-oriented manner and enjoy teamwork

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day and/or evening hours

  • Proficiency in English; further languages such as German are a plus

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

Pricing focuses on market-oriented and margins-optimising product and price management for all business sectors and customer groups in order to create long-term value for the company. The yield management is primarily concerned with maximising revenue through utility and price-oriented management of the fleet and demand. Issues such as planning and composition of the fleet size, predicting the fleet and demand and regulating imports and modulation of vehicles are addressed here. Furthermire, demand adjustments are carried out if necessary through price and availability controls.
