Position Overview:

The Senior Pricing and Transparency Reporting Analyst role is responsible for collaboratively working with Finance, Legal, Brands, and Managed Markets to analyze all pricing actions and their financial impact and assess the US Federal and State Price Transparency Laws impact on Pricing Strategy for Grifols brands.

This individual will develop and maintain brand and state specific tracking of Price Transparency Report trigger calculations and reporting requirements, as well as work with key stakeholders across all critical areas including Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Finance, IT to coordinate Price Transparency reporting

This role entails both analytics and project management skills, as well as comfort with presenting to Senior Leaders to ensure compliance with all US Price Transparency Laws and achievement of financial targets.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Developing pricing analysis through a detailed review of contract proposals, potential pricing actions and current market conditions.

  • Developing contract financial analysis

  • Maximizing contract profitability through detailed understanding of contract components.

  • Working with Finance, Brand, Legal, Managed Markets to ensure any non-standard T&C's have had appropriate risk review and results have been factored into Pricing decisions.

  • Providing Key metrics and reports to align and ensure achievement of Financial goals & commitments

  • Builds analytical tools to calculate impact of existing and new Federal and State Price Transparency Laws on Grifols current portfolio and any future products.

  • Works collaboratively with Legal to interpret the law with regard to any price action calculations. Take that interpretation and apply to all price actions to understand implications and reporting requirements.

  • Works collaboratively with Legal to understand reporting requirements for new product launches.

  • Work closely with the Finance, Contracting and Government Price Reporting to outline key analytics that impact pricing strategy.

  • Presents to leadership the impact of price action scenarios on Financials and to Transparency Law reporting requirements.

  • Coordinates with key stakeholders from key functional areas (e.g., Legal, Marketing, Finance, IT, etc.) to hold team members accountable for delivering accurate information for reporting requirements on time.

  • Assimilates all information for a timely submission of reporting requirements.

  • Elevates questions for leadership consideration and reinforces a forum for discussion, debate, and timely decision making.

  • Identifies any at-risk activities and their estimated impact on Grifols ability to comply with Federal and State Price Transparency

Skills/Qualifications/Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors required; Minimum 5 years related experience in pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry; including 2-3 years pricing specific experience

  • Background knowledge re: the pharmaceutical industry Pricing and/or Market Access background a plus

  • Good analytical skills and proficiency with full MS suite including Excel

  • Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to apply good judgment and lead problem solving within the team

  • Ability to convene subject matter experts for input and decision-making

Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Occasionally walks and stands. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Frequently drives to site locations with occasional travel within the United States. Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken and written words and sentences. Interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups. Must work with diverse groups to obtain consensus on issues.
