Senior Pricing Analyst

Job description: Global Pricing Analyst

This is key strategic position in the Qorvo. This person will be an integral part of the team working with the Business Group and Business Unit Management to develop analytical report and identify new pricing opportunities that drive margin growth for the company with both our direct and distribution customers.

Objectives

• Interface with the business units and product lines assigned to a) develop business analysis reports that driving pricing improvement and profitability decisions, b) maintain up to date pricing and tools in support of this effort, and c) Support Sales on price review and approval.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Support Pricing Manager in pricing analytics, price list release and pricing tools improvements.

• Review, approve and escalate quotes based on approval matrix.

• Provide training and guidance on the use of the pricing tools.

• Analyze competition pricing matched with market expectation to drive the ideal target product price.

• Identify areas of margin leakage and find ways to increase profit.

• Create report to support customer account analysis.

• Work with the Business Units and Product lines to execute pricing strategies tailored to meet their pricing goals.

• Provide analysis of sales trends including pricing, quotes, discounting behavior, and opportunity execution.

• Support customer price negotiations across all tiers, through pricing strategy execution and off invoice services.

• Work with Data Administrator and Customer Service team to maintain pricing data.

• Support corporate audits.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-8 years in business analytics, business development, sales, or marketing. A background in the semiconductor or similar industry is desired.

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, economics, mathematics, statistics or quantitative methods preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries.

• Demonstrate integrity, positive attitude, and solid work ethic.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience in financial modeling, data visualization and database software will be advantageous. SAP S/4Hana working knowledge is helpful.

• Continuous improvement attitude: ability to seek out and implement internal or external best practices.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and write Chinese will be advantageous as both internal and external customers are Chinese speaking.

• Presentation Skills - Ability to prepare and deliver professional presentations to internal and external teams.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize workload with a sense of urgency.
