(We are#27 in 2010) Job Overview The Senior Pricing Analyst will be individually responsible for making pricing decisions for New Business Opportunities, ROFR's/Meet the Competition, Short Dates, and One Time Buys. Responsibilities Will maintain all pricing databases, including, but not limited to existing customer pricing, market pricing, standardized bid levels, floor pricing, pricing tiers, etc. Will prepare pricing for customer RFPs to review with the Pricing Committee and develop pricing startegies for new product proposals.

Provide analysis to management and key functional areas on pricing trends, opportunities, and results based on independent pricing decisions implemented. Utilize transactional systems of record whenever possible to ensure validity and reliability of data and analysis. Prepare, oversee and Implement WAC optimization strategy (WAC reductions) Prepare, oversee and implement pricing increases where required to minimize loss making customer contracts.

Qualifications - Skills & Requirements Bachelor's degree required; or equivalent direct experience Minimum of 2 year's previous contract and/or pricing experience preferred in the generic pharmaceutical sector that may include experience with generic manufacturers, wholesaler, distributors, etc. Strong understanding of generic pharmaceutical pricing metrics, customer classes of trade, and a general understanding of wholesale and retail pharmacy business Strong analytical skills and the ability to organize large amounts of data, identify trends and provide market intuition Proven ability to work cross-functionally with diverse groups and areas of expertise Ability to work independently, setting goals and driving deliverables Must have previous hands-on knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) Proven experience with ERP platform services such as Oracle or SAP Experience w/ analytics and business intelligence tools preferred Education & Experience N/A Physical Requirements OFFICE POSITION - While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to: • Stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work • Light to moderate lifting is required • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic). • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time Sedentary work Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
