Position Summary:

The Accounting Service and Resolution (ASR) team manages all internal and external Premium Accounting customer inquiries related to the collection, custody, and remittance of fiduciary funds. This position reports to the ASR team Supervisor, supports the ASR team lead(s), and is responsible for performing and supporting day-to-day customer service processes. This includes researching and resolving all manner of customer inquiries, handling escalated and urgent items, supporting the managed service team as a subject matter expert, conducting quality assurance reviews, and completing other required accounting tasks and special projects, as assigned.

What will your job entail?

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality customer service to all internal and external customers via our call center, ticketing system, service portals, and other various customer touch points.

  • Independently resolve customer inquiries timely and accurately, including complex and urgent issues, while building and maintaining strong relationships with all customer groups.

  • Serve as a process and system subject matter expert providing support to our internal and external production teams and partners.

  • Perform quality assurance reviews, root cause analysis, and remediation activities.

  • Identify trends and propose process and system improvements across all premium accounting workstreams.

  • Remain informed about regulatory changes and best practices for relevant industry, technology, and service domains.

  • Support the ASR Supervisor, Team Lead, Premium Accounting associates, and other functional teams with service issues or on special projects, as needed.

Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree is required; concentration in finance, accounting, and/or business administration preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.

  • Minimum of three years of experience in premium accounting, customer service, brokerage, or other insurance-related function is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume position, deliver timely and accurate work products with a customer service focus, and respond with a sense of urgency.

  • Good mathematical aptitude, organizational skills, problem solving, analytical skills, and customer service orientation.

  • Ability to work in a remote team environment with a strong teamwork orientation. Must demonstrate willingness to help the larger team meet goals and responsibilities.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

The target hourly rate range for this position is $20.05 - $24.00 per hour.

The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
