Computer Aid, Inc. is looking for a motivated PMO Manager in South Florida. This position would be responsible for all areas of project portfolio planning for multiple projects and initiatives within the IT organization. Additionally, the ideal individual will also help plan and execute activities related to an enterprise wide agile transformation. The selected individual would be tasked with working closely with the IT Leadership, Technical Team Leads, Agile and/or Scrum Project Managers, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drives and support process and organizational change around project and product deliveries related to Transformational Initiatives.

  • Drive key strategic decisions as a process expert and provides guidance and feedback on critical future state business processes

  • Aligns with Agile Center of Excellence for both Customer Facing and Internal project initiatives

  • Plans, builds and executes transition strategy from traditional Waterfall environment to Agile

  • Run and/or establish coaching and training sessions for other team members or business leaders on selected tools, processes, and methodologies.

  • Review and monitor metrics and KPIs for assigned initiatives

  • Facilitates meetings with key leadership members focusing on all portfolio projects and technology deliveries within assigned portfolio.

  • Responsible for staffing assigned projects

  • Manage project financials, budget and monthly reports

  • Conducts Quality Assurance reviews of all projects taking place within the business teams

  • Prepare and perform executive level presentations on program updates, set targets, timelines

  • Provides strategy and definitions for future state team structure, needs, etc.

Experience/Education Required

  • 7+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager in an IT setting

  • 3+ years of experience in Project Delivery leadership; including supervisory experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, Engineering or other relevant degree, MBA preferred

  • Experience influencing and driving change in a matrixed organization

  • Strong experience in Agile & Scrum Methodologies

  • Experience with Agile Coaching and Agile transformation strongly preferred

  • Expert level experience in Project Management Methodologies, Frameworks and Tools

  • Significant experience in driving cultural change and how to improve operational performance in an efficient/effective manner

  • Must possess the ability to run projects and help with strategy for Transformation

  • Communicates well with all levels of the organization


  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) required

  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) preferred

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified SAFe Scrum Master preferred

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor

Maintains and documents ongoing client financial reporting and covenant monitoring to ensure financial safety and soundness of the CRE portfolio assigned. Collaborates with the CRE RM and PM Team to identify credit worthy projects within targeted markets while developing an in-depth knowledge of SunTrust Commercial Real Estate underwriting and industry product solutions. The role may also serve as a secondary contact on assigned client relationships and coordinate with CRE Portfolio Manager Analysts to monitor assigned loan portfolios. The role supports ongoing monitoring of the credit portfolio and loan portfolio administration. The role reports to the CRE Portfolio Manager Team Lead for Florida and IPC. CRE PMs must demonstrate the ability to successfully manage complex portfolios and multi task while working under critical deadlines to meet client needs. Typically has responsibility for credit analysis underwriting projects in Florida and nationwide CRE markets. Project underwriting may include construction, opportunistic, value-add, or core assets. Coordinates and collaborates with other teammates including, CRE PM Analysts, Senior CRE PMs, CRE RMs, loan servicing and loan closing teams, CRE Middle Office support on depository relationships, and product specialists (syndications, derivatives, treasury and payment solutions, etc) in support of the Florida and IPC portfolios. Qualifications Basic Requirements: * 3 years prior experience in commercial banking or commercial credit OR 2 years commercial portfolio management. Preferred Requirements: * Graduate of a commercial training program OR 4 years experience on a commercial banking team as a commercial banker. * College degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
